    Manages clinical data reporting related to the Quality Payment Program. The initial focus will be on annual electronic submission of clients’ MIPS performance data to the QPP Data Submission System and the periodic interactions with clients throughout the year needed to prepare for such submissions.


    Initially this will be a "hands on" position requiring the various responsibilities including beta test electronic submissions to be accomplished individually, but will require building and managing a team for the CDR service.


    • Minimum education BA or equivalent.
    • Minimum 3 years working experience in the HIT field with a registry system such as a public health registry, clinical data registry, ACO quality data warehouse, or CIN (Clinically Integrated Network).
    • Highly desirable to have work experience in ophthalmology and/or optometry.
    • Desirable to have work experience related to CMS and ONC regulations such as related to prior Meaningful Use or PQRS programs, the current MIPS program, and/or the HIT Certification Program.
    • Desirable to have people management and team-building experience.
    • Must be an effective leader, team player, self-motivated and goal-oriented.
    • Position requires a natural drive for client satisfaction.
    • Position requires attention to detail and high accuracy in all communications.
    • Position may require travel within USA for client site visits, conferences or other meetings.


    • MIPS submissions. Will develop, train, implement and manage Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions for creation of EIDM accounts and use of the QPP Data Submission System for MIPS electronic data submissions. Responsible for timeliness and accuracy of these submissions.
    • Compliant QCDR operation. Responsible that QCDR is operated in a manner compliant with the CMS qualification requirements and also with HIPAA / HITECH requirements related to privacy & security of ePHI.
    • CDR service. Responsible for the CDR service including at minimum quarterly touch points with CDR clients. Annual tasks for each client include annual planning of the MIPS reporting strategy, quarterly monitoring that the client is aware of and satisfied with their measured MIPS performance, and the annual electronic submission service. Ultimately, the CDR Manager will be evaluated based on business success of the CDR service and client satisfaction with that service.
