    Our Client, a leading provider RCM, EHR, and Practice Management Solutions is seeking a Remote Public Relations and Communications Manager to nurture a strong industry network, increase awareness and develop an enviable company image and employer brand by executing effective communication and media relations programs. The successful candidate must demonstrate excellent marketing and communications skills, business acumen, strong teamwork, resourcefulness, passion, and the ability to work effectively within an entrepreneurial high-growth organization that provides software and services products targeted to the Optical/Ophthalmology industry.

    Qualifications

    • Ability to work remotely in EST hours of operation
    • BA/BS Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, PR, or Related Discipline 
    • HIT experience a plus, eye care industry experience a +++
    • 5+ years of experience in PR, B2B marketing and business communications 
    • Experience in managing the development and execution of integrated programs, comprising public/media relations, advertising, direct mail, digital marketing, brochures and other communications tools 
    • Demonstrated experience excelling at managing multiple, deadline-sensitive projects, keeping internal clients informed, tracking multiple projects
    • Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, high-performance remote environment
    • Exceptional written and communication skills
    • Ability to travel to the Corporate Charlotte, NC office and other places for meetings, not to exceed 20% travel

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute on public relations strategy to enhance the brand and relationship of the ECL portfolio and new brands.
    • Coordinate all public relations activities
    • Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry media
    • Manage media inquiries and interview requests, obtains increasing amount of earned media
    • Create content for press releases, byline articles, keynote presentations, case studies and blogs, and manages their distribution and success.
    • Monitor, analyze, and communicate PR results on a monthly basis
    • Build relationships with external and develops internal Thought Leaders to grow industry awareness
    • Develop and deploy website and social media strategy and content, market engagement programs, branding initiatives
    • Be a team player and work well cross organizationally
    • Supervise deployment and measurement of a variety of communications tools / tactics, including news releases, digital communications vehicles, trade shows & other promotional events, direct marketing, and print, broadcast & online advertising 
    • Ensure communication strategy is consistent and reflects the organization’s strategic vision
