Overview

Carolina Eye Center is seeking a Practice Administrator to manage all aspects of our busy Ophthalmology office in Columbia, SC.    The Practice Administrator will determine areas of improvement seeking to optimize patient care and financial results as well as supporting the Practice.  The Practice Administrator will have a solid understanding of a wide range of healthcare experience and a proven record of accomplishment in successfully managing operational complexities.  The Practice Administrator will continuously look for ways to optimize workflow. Relocation stipend is available.

 

Qualifications

  • 10+ years’ combined experience working and managing a busy Ophthalmology practice.
  • Ability to inspire, motivate and coach team to meet business goals.
  • Ability to set goals and manage their variable needs.
  • Ability to assemble a team around a common goal.
  • Must be independent and success-driven.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to make tough decisions.
  • Ensure projects are driven efficiently in the areas of patient experience, profit maximization, and revenue generation.
  • Set clear goals and priorities with specific outcomes. Involve employees in the process and ensure they understand the cumulative goal.
  • Inspire and motivate others by communicating clearly and demonstrating personal commitment. Challenge self and others to go above and beyond.
  • Plan effectively and organize resources to achieve goals. Consider broader organizational needs, anticipate future needs, and adapt to change.
  • Make sound decisions that are timely and based on facts. Weigh cost and benefits consider alternatives, include input from others who are closest to the issue.
  • Plan and execute work utilizing technology and process improvements to ensure efficiency and scalability. Mentor others to take initiative and continuously improve products, services, and processes.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent

  • Sitting, Standing, Bending, Reaching, Stooping, Walking and Lifting
  • Ability to see, hear, and speak with sufficient capability to perform assigned tasks

Compensation:

 

Full benefits package available.

Salary range is $65,000 to $70,000

Responsibilities

Facilitate a high-performance culture by working closely with internal team to meet/exceed office goals.

  • Revenue growth through patient retention, promotion, and maximizing patient care.
  • Ensuring profitability through effective staffing, scheduling, team work, patient flow and expense management.
  • Manage the workforce of the center. Responsible for the selection, development, engagement, and the performance of the employees
  • Manage the Social Media for the Practice
  • Must have a clear understanding of company policies including, but not limited to the company manual, safety, and compliance
