Eye Care Leaders is searching for a superstar Inside Sales Representative who can make sales and support a field team in selling to assigned accounts through telephone contact from our Charlotte office. The Inside Sales Representative is accountable for the sale of ECL’s suite of products. The Inside Sales Representative will work closely and partner with ECL outside Sales Executives to coordinate customer contacts and sales leads. The Inside Sales Representative is accountable for meeting or exceeding assigned / forecasted sales quotas Work to close sales with each targeted customer. 

Qualifications

Position Desired Skill Sets

  • Prior experience preferred in the EHR, Practice Management sales field, preferably in the Ophthalmic industry
  • Ability to absorb a strong understanding of the ECL suite of products
  • Strong Communicator, able to build relationships and identify Customer pain points clearly/professionally while offering solutions from the ECL suite of products. This position requires a comfort level with speaking to Surgeons, Physicians, Clinical Staff and C-Level decision makers. 
  • Superior time management skills
  • Salesforce experience a +
  • No fear of strapping on a headset and calling existing and potential new Customers
  • Self-Starter, Professional, No Drama & Committed
  • Experience with MS Office
  • Team Player

Compensation

 

Generous compensation package including base salary plus a no-cap commission on all sales to include appointments & sales secured from the leads you generate to the outside sales team.  This position is located in our Charlotte office.  Limited remote work may be available for inside sales staff who meet or exceed monthly quota.  Full remote opportunities may be available for the right candidates.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for the monthly sales quota of Eye Care Leaders suite of products via specifically assigned accounts through telephone contact.
  • Promote the sale of new and well performing products with both existing and future customers. Pursue open quotes and outside Sales Executive follow-ups.
  • Support the development of semi-routine sales solutions and techniques.
  • Attend on-site client visits as well as occasional industry gatherings and training.
  • Establish significant relationships, networks and rapport both internally and externally. 
  • Through internal training and your entrepreneurial research, secure and solidify a broad knowledge of product mix and performance to add value to our customers and the sales process.
  • Develop a robust understanding of the regulatory requirements surrounding customer sales and logistics.
  • Perform necessary analysis and planning to ensure that the objectives and priorities for each sales call are established and met in time frames acceptable to the customer.
  • Address Customers’ concerns, questions and objections with effective solution based sales conversations.
  • Identify and cultivate personnel at targeted customers who make sales purchasing decisions.
  • May negotiate pricing within approved guidelines, however, typically does so with the support and guidance of the inside sales leadership team.
  • Follow up and maintain relationships with customers after close of sale.
  • Ensure strong Customers satisfaction and experience.
  • Support outside Sales Executives and customers with conversion request paperwork and requests and order/implementation statuses.
  • Keep management apprised of progress toward established revenue goals and in closing identified prospects.
